Slimline 28

Maximum elegance!

With Slimline 28, we have created a profile that reinterprets the aesthetics of the timber window. The sightline of the sash frame is reduced from 50 mm to just 28 mm. This creates an exceptionally slim and delicate appearance of timeless elegance. We have also reduced the visible width of the floating mullion (meeting stile) from 134 mm to 90 mm, and that of the transom from 175 mm to 131 mm.

Slimline 28 combines design lightness with state-of-the-art window engineering. The profile is equally suited to heritage and listed-building applications as well as to purist, contemporary high-end architecture. Despite its slender profiling, all the technical advantages of the modern IV profile are fully retained. Like all our IV-profile windows, Slimline 28 comes as standard with three continuous perimeter seals.

The slim all-rounder

We can realise the slim Slimline 28 sash in all our Standard, Classic, Artisan and Nederland 114 profiles. In the IV68 system, the profile can be used with very few limitations. In the IV78 and IV92 systems, its use is more limited due to the higher sash weights. If, in individual cases, Slimline 28 cannot be realised because of sash weight, we can alternatively use sash frames with a sightline of 38 mm.
